I Love the Beach!

Published by at 9:23 pm under The Beach

I spent the last two nights at the Ocean Walk in Daytona Beach with my best friend. Good times are always had by all at the beach! I think it is impossible not to have a good time at the beach. I arrived on Thursday evening. I drove straight from work to the beach. I met up Brandy and her family at Johnny Rockets from dinner. Then we headed down to the boardwalk to play games in the arcade.

I took Friday off of work. I couldn’t have picked a more gorgeous day to have off from work. It was sunny and breezy all day. It is one of those days that you just want to inhale and remember it forever. Time always goes by soo fast when you don’t want it to. We were laying out at the pool soaking up the sun by about 9:30 - 10:oo a.m. We were started on our first drinks by about 10:30 a.m. We spent the day laying next to the pool, floating in the lazy river and sipping tropical drinks!

Friday night we played a dice game called LCR It was really fun! I probably liked it because you play with money and I won twice! Then we proceeded to do Tequila shots. Four shots later and the bottle was empty and there were no takers on finishing the Grey Goose.

By some miracle I woke up and felt fine this morning. We packed up the condo and headed down to the pool around 11:00 a.m.. We drank a few Pina Coladas and ate a cheese burger in paradise! We floated around the lazy river for a long time soaking up the breezy sunny weather.

    WOW!

It looks like you guys are having lots of fun. Although we are stuck here in Michigan, I’m hoping that we will start getting some better weather soon. So, I can take my wife and kids to the Metro beach also.

Sounds like a blast. Daytona was my favorite place to go when I lived in Orlando, back then we were permitted to drive our cars on the beach so we would pack it full of a days worth of food and beverage, blankets and clothes etc. and spend the whole day out there from sun up to sun down.

I love the beach too…my dream is to move “some place” hot and sunny all year long!

My mother has a place in central Florida and when I visit her Daytona Beach is on my list of things to do…I love the idea that we take their van on the beach…

wow, I’m jealous…I live far to far from the beach to go for a weekend….does going to the lake count? I’ll have to report on those trips when/if I ever get time to do that.

Just think, soon you’ll be living on the beach and spending every day lounging around and having drinks :D
